In 2009, our founder stepped away from a successful career in hospitality to walk beside her mother, Connie, through her cancer journey. Connie lived with compassion, faith, and a heart that poured love into everyone she met. Yet, during countless appointments and hospital stays, one truth became painfully clear: healthcare too often forgets the human behind the diagnosis.

Conversations felt transactional. Warmth and dignity were missing. What Connie deserved — care delivered with empathy, grace, and humanity — was absent.

That experience became a calling.
